Have you forgotten?

It is easy to see how the inhabitants of any country would be proud of their flag and culture. In many countries it seems that their flag does represent their culture, but the United States is different. The red, white, and blue stands as an icon for freedom across the world. I can only imagine the feeling of relief and gratitude as the Jewish, Phillipine,  and European people saw the approaching American flag in WWII. Even today, the liberty loving people cheer and our enemies tremble at the site of our Old Glory. The American flag is more than a symbol for our country, it is a representation of freedom and liberty, not just for the people of America, but freedom for ALL people.

Six years ago today, our freedom was challenged, and our country was attacked.  We mourned then as we do today in remembrance  of our great loss. But, our country has risen up again. We have regained our resolve to preserve liberty wherever it may be in peril. We will fight for the weak, we will protect honest, and we will preserve the free. Our fight is not over, and has only begun. Until those who threaten freedom are silenced,
WE WILL NOT TIRE, WE WILL NOT FALTER, AND WE WILL NOT FAIL!
